我(聲音提高八度):..是不~准~停~車~.....(氣到就差沒把學生大卸八塊)

前幾天.跟高二學生在課堂教到一個句子

我: The police officer said, 'You shouldn't have left your car parked here. It says, No parking." ' 這句話什麼意思?

學生:....你不應該......車..........

我:.....park 是什麼意思?

學生: .......豬肉.........

我:.如果park是豬肉....那No parking.是什麼意思?

學生: ....沒有...沒有豬肉.......(全班哄堂大笑).

我:...........(又氣又笑到說不出話.直接倒在講桌上)

(我想我應該感謝還有這些有待加強的學生. 讓英文老師比較不會失業)

Whenever I teach the word, park, it always brings me surprises from students.

Last time, I asked a 9th-grade student about the meaning of " No Parking." He answered, " There is no park." I almost fainted .

Few days ago, my 11th-grade student mistook park for pork.

Therefore, " No Parking" turned into " There is no pork."

This time, I had my head on the lectern with big laughter.
